7 Australian cities this year, eh? Does this mean we can except another lacklustre event (to be fair I find last years show to be the most fun of the 3 SD! shows in Perth, which was suprising due to injuries, firings, retirements, Roster raids and Suicides it was the poorest roster on paper).
Anyway I checked wwe.com and it lists Bris, Newcastle Syd, Mel and Adel it also mention 2 shows for New Zealand. So that makes 7.
Guess we gotta wait for the E to swing thru SE Asia again and get tagged on again.

Touring-wise Perth is more Asia than Australia for most things.
KennedyIsGod- 03-26-2008
Yeah, ditto.
And bring RAW this time damnit!
in training- 03-26-2008
Agreed, the more Bob Holly and masked Charlie Haas we see the better.
MrAshWoodsworth- 03-26-2008
You were kidding about Bob Holly right???

No. The man's a legend. I don't kid around when it comes to "Spark Plug" Bob Holly.
FallenInsanity- 03-26-2008
Fuck Bob Holly... we need more Highlander Robbie!!!
killswitch- 03-26-2008
you and your liking of Bob Holly disgusts me.
MrAshWoodsworth- 03-26-2008
Eurrghh you have to be kidding...
I dont even wanna get started on all the reasons why he is horrible!
InTheZone- 03-26-2008
RAW this week saw Hardcore Holly vs. Khali. The most un-bonerrific match in history.
I bet 'in training' was on the edge of his seat.
Well he would be, if he could see RAW from his "I hate and don't watch RAW" high horse.
Plus, he smells.

One does not just watch Holly job to any old Indian freak!
I am actually watching RAW, SD! and ECW this week all in the lead up to Mania. I'm really quite proud of myself.
And... well... your mum... oooh good one ITZ.

Ok, the reason i posted the link, other than to inform people that this was going on, was to get your thoughts on how and if this will affect the wrestling scene here.
In particular..
Will haveing a WWE base thats is being compared with the Conneticut offices have any impact here?
Has it affected the UK market with the offices opened there?
Will it make it easier for Australian wrestlers "with some trace of talent" to gain dark matches and WWE tryouts, or perhaps staff to gain experience with WWE?
Do you think the amount of shows will continue to increase, OR perhaps we may even get a P.P.V in Sydney or Melbourne
Whats my chances of being hired by WWE when i move to Sydney or Melbourne? Ok that one's a trick question...

You would assume so. More advertising, more products on Ozshop More Toys in Stores and so forth.

No idea.

Not Unless having talent is a requirment by WWE standards in the near future. I Wish Our EPW boys all the best in breaking into the international scene, but I would say only Bobby Marshall has the Look WWE is interested in. Jimmy Payne, FN Carnage, Mikey and Haste as well as Bobby are all exciting to watch and IMO better than about 95% of the current WWE roster. But the E only like mediocre talent! Also I think Haste would be a physical wreck if wrestled his style on a full WWE Touring Roster.

I think Tours in the Aus/NZ/SE Asia area well increase. But don't count on a PPV. They stopped doing the British PPV's back in 2002 and that's a much larger market! I don't TV Tapings are out of the Question. Tape a Raw in SD! in Sydney and Melbourne. Maybe even Perth if we make enough noise during the next House show we get.

That depends on how eager you are to please Pat Patterson.
Little Bean- 04-03-2008
But WWE will not be creating a localised version of the show, with audiences interested in the American superstars, not a second-rate local wrestling product.
HA! Give me a second rate EPW show over Raw or Smackdown any day of the week.
