Why does Ferguson Block call his Spicy Drop the 'Burning Hammer'?
I'm fairly sure I've seen it called the Burning Hammer elsewhere as well... some indy wrestler probably, but I'm not heavily into American indies so I couldn't say who it was.
It was more so for the fact that it's not a Burning Hammer at all. It's a Spicy Drop.

Two reasons:
1) He named it while feuding with Brock it was something like "you've got the F5 but I'm going to FU"
2) It fits his character (or did at the time before marketing, Janet Jackson and moving off Smackdown made him loose his edge) much the same reason as Christian Cage, Billy Kidman and Davis Storm all call the Uranage different names.

Exactly, it fits in with his persona. Ferg calls it a Burning Hammer, his hair also looks like it is constantly on fire. Coincidence?
