I think the guy's a tool HOWEVER that's like saying you have to like local bands, independent films, etc because they're less professional. You've got the right to not like something no matter what if that's your opinion but your opinion is all it is.

Mr. LUKIE- 04-05-2008

I love how people are saying I have a right to have an opinion, then calling me a tool for having it. Excellent. RE: Shane Haste. He is a spot monkey, and from everything I have ever seen from him in the ring, he can do nothing except sloppy, retarded, high risk spots. Not my idea of good wrestling.

Everybody has a right to have an opinion, i'm just confused as to why you still come to EPW shows after your review of re-awakening. If you dont like EPW then fair enough, but why come back again and again and voice the same harsh views. Next time, stay at home and watch your huge collection of downloaded "stiff" Shinsuke Nakamura matches. Puro Smarks...

Mr. LUKIE- 04-05-2008

Ahahaha. Goodness. Puro smarks. I get coaxed into coming. Don't worry, I voice my displeasure beforehand aswell. Just thought I would give my honest opinions, and maybe the guys at EPW can look at improving the product.

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. -- The Friends of Voltaire, 1906" http://www.classroomtools.com/voltaire.htm Exactly. I really don't see what's so hard to understand about it, yet Homicide and Mr. Lukie have questioned it. Yes, you have the right to an opinion - I don't see how Homicide can question that most basic of rights - and yes, I can be of the opinion that your opinion - Mr. Lukie - is unfair, and still agree that you get to say it. It seems childish for any other standards to be at play, so I don't get why people don't "get" that. :?

Anyway back to the wrestling now....

InTheZone- 04-06-2008

Was the show much shorter than usual, or is it just me? I was pissed that the Union retained. And in such cheap fashion. Also pissed that Chase/Dan lost. Storm/Payne was great as an opener, but I just which it perhaps went a little longer. Good on Jag, but now we may not see as much of the NWA Australian title here in WA.

/usr/epw- 04-06-2008

yeah it was a shorter night.

Mr. LUKIE- 04-06-2008

Next time, stay at home and watch your huge collection of downloaded "stiff" Shinsuke Nakamura matches. I have been instructed by a friend, much to my own chagrin, to tell you to go and watch a Nakamura match, as Nakamura (or Crapamura as I personally like to call him) is not very stiff at all. I also found the night to be a lot shorter then previous. I believe we were out by 9:30. I also think that Storm and Payne should have been given more respect then to be the opening match, especially since Storm is by far one of the few guys on the roster who is decent. I also found it odd with the time limits. In reality, you can't really do a 20 minute limit, a 15 minute limit, a 10 minute limit, then have no limits on any other matches... :S And the said friend said to make noise, as he believes the crowd has lost passion from when he used to regularly go a couple of years ago. In all honesty HE SHOULD SIGN UP AND POST HIS OWN COMMENTS

In all honesty HE SHOULD SIGN UP AND POST HIS OWN COMMENTS  I think Payne/Storm would have kicked arse as opener if they had more time, and if the crowd were louder. A match like that to kick it off would usually have gotten the crowd going nuts - like the Hellfish did in that title defense, one of the events last year - but the fact that the crowd just didn't try for the most part let it down a bit. The positive; no matter how quiet the crowd is, a good match is still a good match, and I can still enjoy it again when I pick up the DVD.

TonyStallone- 04-06-2008

Mr. Lukie, May I ask who your favourite wrestlers are? Also a couple of your favourite matches? I'm just curious as to what 'product' of wrestling you enjoy watching, also you knowledge does seem to have some depth, wouldn't mind to hear a bit about you wrestling background, be it fan or whatever other wrestling experiences you have.

TonyStallone- 04-06-2008

Just reading over this now, I apologise this isn't really the appropiriate topic. 'A live show history' In the general discussion forum, if you wouldn't mind posting your response in there. Thankyou.

Mr. LUKIE- 04-06-2008

I forgot to say to the new referee, Giles, I believe was his name. He did a great job, and I actually put my commendations for him above quite a few of the wrestlers. Good job Giles if you read this.

MrAshWoodsworth- 04-06-2008

How did you know the refs name?
