Well, What A Night It Was!!
Hell or Highwater is over for another year. The Killer Bees retain over "bathers, bathers, bathers, undies!" West slaughtered Taylor Captain Dooley beat Devlin Jurah picked up the win against Jose Del Santo, and Dan THE BEAST!! (Dammit, and I wanted to know who came out on top between Peter Parker and Dr Octopus.. hmmph!!) Spike defeated Bobby to walk straight into the NWA title tournament And the all important result Haste DEFEATED Grimace............. ..........by DQ. Davis Storm - no longer are you a WANKER. After turning on Grimace, you are now a freaking legend!! Bobby Marshall - shame shame shame. Smashing Haste with a steel chair and bloodying the Awe-Inspiring One. Just goes to show from now on the only gold you'll ever be wearing in EPW is the gold thats on your boots!!

for those who weren't there a steel cage match was anounced for Desperate Measures, No not Winter Warfare. There is a forum for the steel cage match: forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=934" target="_blank">http://epw.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=934

I thought the high level of theatrics unnecessary.

in training- 06-09-2007

The clown was freakin' AWESOME!!!!!

Drewz- 06-09-2007

I thought the high level of theatrics unnecessary. Meh, I thought the triple-threat went on a little longer then it should have, but I guess.. Who cares? Funny night. Main event was awesome. European Union are awesome.

European Union are awesome. Hell, I loved the triple threat match! It made the night worth it, just because I got a great laugh out of it! Markout moment one for me : Shane beating Payne (even though it was only via DQ) Markout moment two : Fight spilling into the crowd Markout moment three : Davis hitting Jimmy with the belt Markout moment four : FN + CJL retaining the titles Markout moment five : THE CLOWN!

What about spikes suplex on bobby onto teh ground from the apron? That was ground shattering

synista- 06-09-2007

Scissor kick from the apron anyone?

in training- 06-09-2007

- The Suplex to the outside. - The Scissor kick off the apron on the outside. - A couple of huge suicide dives; Dan and Shane! - Cross-Bomb through the table. - Shane running up the wall doing a backflip/moonsault - Dooley's chest bleading - The chairshot on Haste rivalring two big ones the DEvlin Reeves took. There was tonnes of crazy stuff and markout moments.

srry bout double post, but remember, CAGE MATCH AT DESPERATE MEASURES!!!

The Vision- 06-09-2007

O For fuk sake shut the hell up. What was good about Dooleys chest is that you could actually see the blood dripping down. It was cut up bad hey. And the Haste thing where he ran up a wall and did a backflip was awesome!

mitto666- 06-10-2007

I like Shane but what Bobby did was awesome. I love seeing a face turn heel. Brilliant

I don't want to have to boo Marshall, but I have no choice now. Haste gets more impressive each match. He deserves to be champion for sure. Storm's kicks to the face are brutal! He absolutely planted Haste and Reeves with those shots. Don and Marcius chucking wobblies respectively at our 'Deport Johnny' shirts was cool, until Don spat on me as he spoke... then it turned disgusting. Dooley's chest deserves a mention. He teased us with the chops for a while before delivering, which made it that much sweeter. Not a fan of Dooley winning. Sucks to see Richter out with an injury. Here's hoping it heals quickly. The whole EPW cast put on a great show without Mikey Nicholls. No slight to him, because he was an awesome talent, but it's good to see that EPW is still strong without the Comic Book Hero come to life. No Burbank. Bloody West, first he takes out Burbank, and then Taylor. We Want Burbank to give West the ass-kicking he deserves. I preferred Psychofett's former attire, especially after he rearranged his junk at us. Yes, AT us, not near us, not infront of us, but at us. Vegara was pulling off some nifty little tricks with that singapore cane. When did he become so adept at handling poles? An awesome match from The Fighting Hellfish as usual. This team covers all bases; high-flying, technical prowess and smashmouth power. Who can take the titles from these two? Not the Forefathers, any more. Not Psycho-Sensation. The Union? Jurahnoughts? T'EMO? The chairshot from Bobby to Haste was nasty. It ranks right up there with the deadliest chair shots in my EPW-going history. The stand-out of the show was obvious. Harry the Clown. Humble beginnings. A thanks to Lukey for including us in the recap. Great show by EPW, and served its purpose well as the prelude to the Rumble and the Cage match.
