I also visited empire toys to pick up a ticket for my son, only to be informed that they dont sell them anymore. The reason he gave me was that they were selling 90% of the tickets to the show and werent making any money from it.
So, I still dont have a ticket for my son (I pick up my annual membership at the door)

That is such a crappy reason!!
Now technically they weren't making any money from selling the EPW tickets, but maybe they needed to look at how much money they made from people like me, who would never normally go in there except to buy EPW tix and whilst I was in there picked up some dvd's etc etc.
Oh well...their loss.

Ask for E.P.W tickets when you go into planet video
dont ask for the event name... it wont come up on the computer
E P W is the only name that will appear on their computers
ask for these, and there should be no more hassles
