The AWF hits Perth

Well after looking through who's coming I can't say I'm familiar with many. No doubt killswitch and Baconfudge will manage Supa Nova fine, perhaps I'll try and stick close and not get lost until the wrasslin'!

I'm loathe to be the bad news bearer but according to rumour Hayden Panettiere from HEROES won't be coming to Perth. Nice how they just manage to print and distribute those flyers before they make big changes. They better have a replacement or.. who am I kidding, we're just a bum town of no consequence all the way down in Australia. Oh, and Morena Baccarin of tv series FIREFLY and motion picture spinoff SERENITY is coming and you forgot to mention? Baconfudge, your geek cred is slipping.. I just re-checked the website and Hayden was still confirmed for Perth, why did you here this rumour? I don't like it. And to reinstate my geek cred Mark Sheppard also from Firefly (Badger) will be there but these days I guess he is better known as Romo Lampkin from Battlestar Galactica.

So did anyone go? How was the wrestling? Personally it would have needed Mac-freaken-Gyver himself to be there for me to this time round.

Would've liked to see the Hellboy 2 thing on Saturday.

I went on Sunday, the wrestling is alright. TNT and JT Robinson came over for it. Mana wrestled on Saturday.

Mana wrestled on Saturday. How'd he afford admission? Was JT (Robinson) still champ? I kinda haven't been paying much attention lately. Kinda would have thought/hoped a few more guys would have come over... but from that other statement i kinda sense that wasn't the case, and well, that maybe some that dont know any better might have been conned into helping out. Actually, i just checked the other site, mid writing this. Must say, quite disappointing to be honest. Honestly i hope AWF don't end up completely burning their toes with the current partnerships

I only ended up watching one match, (TNT vs some punk from Rockingham). At least meeting Kandyse McClure was worth the price of admission alone.

I was gonna go...but was too hungover. My friend said i didnt miss much and that Mana wrestled...watching a Mana match is not the way i would like to spend a hungover saturday thankyou very much.

I heard Jewel Staite from Firefly made an appearance, was this true? And was she in place of Morena Baccarin, or did I miss both? I wish I'd gone to lol at the wrestling and drool at the ladies. :cry:
