man I thought the cage match was great, one of the highest suplexes I have ever seen and that awsome spot with Azazal crotching himself on the top of the cage door and a great ending.............I mean cmon if Azazal it would be a sad day
jaffa- 11-13-2005
oops I ment to say If Azazal did leave EPW it would be a sad day......my bad

I loved the event. Extremely solid with everybody busting their arses.
A few things really stood out though:
Shane Haste definitely took it up a level. He showed tonight, that he is a very integral part to the future of EPW. He has all the in ring skills and definitely the charisma. He told a great story in both matches last night.
Los Freemanos is GOLD! The little things he does throughout his match are absolutely hilarious and id efinitely think he is one of the more underrated talents on the roster.
AZ Vegara. Watch out for him. There's more to the story from the looks of it. He showed at Re-Awakening that he has the ability to stoop to whatever it takes to take the victory. It'll be interesting to see what Chris Vice says about it. Stay tuned.
The Cage Match was the match of the night and one of the best matches i have ever seen. You didn't see much catch as catch-can style traditional wrestling. But what you did see was an emotional brawl that kept you hooked. The suplex from the cage was incredible, but the cage door shot to the janglies was also innovative. Both guys deserved a standing ovation after that match and i'm glad that happened.
From a story point of view, the vacant tag titles are interesting. But i felt as though the match deserved a winner. It had an incredible atmosphere and the guys in the ring didn't let that down. I look forward now to seeing what the aftermath is from this match.
The main event was incredible as well. That's to be expected from two of the top wrestlers in Australia. I thought Jag would take it, but i wasn't upset to see Mikey come away with it. I would definitely like to see a rematch though.
And my final thought of the night: SUNSET PILEDRIVER!!!! Much respect for Shane Haste.
Absolutely awesome event from EPW, I can't wait for the next event in January.

That is an awesome move, made famous by AJ Styles i believe, the Canadian Destroyer. Excellent to see the quality of EPW wrestlers to be able to do that. Unfortunately i havent been to EPW since the iron man match. Lack of funds (yeah i'm a poor arse) and now its a long way to travel, but now that the holidays are on, maybe i can ctach the next event.
Please inform me, i viewed the 10 reasons to see EPW. and when miket moonsaulted off that stage, is that the Venville centre? and how many people were tehre last night. By sounds of it EPW has grown into a very good company, scrap that, an awesome company
Markus- 11-13-2005
there was probably about 800 people there and that is the sound and lighting balcony of the venville rec centre
Drusilla- 11-13-2005
The Ironman match was extremely ripped off, it's true. Main problem is that Mikey is so popular. Well not a problem exactly, but you know what I mean. Most people would look and say "Hmmm. Should I vote for Mikey, or Davis Storm?" Silly little people.
That cage match was... no words to properly describe it. Well none that I can think of anyway, but it was beautiful. Azazal, you are a brave and wonderful man. Those falls, the ones from the top and the amazing nutcracker onto the door, just... wow. The sound of that impact! Wow. And then the two of them, rubbing each others faces into the wire... and then Azazal with the chain again! Awesome. All I can say.
And yes, I also noticed that the ring impacts were amazingly loud! Huge hits, sounded terribly, terribly painful. But in a good way, for the fans at least. :P Maybe not so for people like Azazal and Shane Haste... both of whom seemed to get a good few hits onto it.
Speaking of, Shane proved to all of us that he is moving right on up. Finally. Lets see those Awesome Inc boys in some more big matches. But NOT against Havok again. Big bully. :x
But in all, the event was great. I mean, apart from the fact that Jag, Dooley and Storm were all robbed.

The only thing these losers were robbed of last night were their dignity, self respect....and fashion sense!
Drusilla- 11-13-2005
No, my friend, they were not. Self respect? Bet they still have plenty of that. Dignity? Hah! What they were robbed of was their rightful reigns as CHAMPIONS! I mean, literally robbed in the case of Dolley and Storm. Burbank knew that if the match continued the outcome would be in favour of the Forefathers. It's obvious. Why else would he go to such pathetic measures to strip the CHAMPIONS Nate and Davis of their titles?

Because Burbank is a professional and could do the only right and honorable thing to do!!
Nate and Davis were only champions cause they cheated. That is the only way they could ever become...or stay...champions. Burbank has just took their opportunity to continue cheating away.
Now...back to the lame pride parade outfits...
Drusilla- 11-13-2005
I'm not saying that the Forefathers should have won. Okay, I actually am, but I wouldnt have complained all that much if GST had them back either. That's beside the point. They would have won, had the match continued after the "call dispute", as most fans seemed to think it should have. It seemed to be the general thought (judging by all the calls I heard) around the arena. I honestly think that it was a bad call by Burbank. After all the huge build up or GST and Storm, and the brillaint Dooley angle, the expectations were high. This feud could have lasted for months without it getting old! Grudge matches are so entertaining! (Look at Carny and Azazal!) I happen to believe, quite strongly, that the match was a let down after all the hype. I was looking forward to it for weeks! Since Dirty Deeds in fact. Even if the match didnt continue, Burbank could have caused a huge fuss, and a much bigger upset, by naming them joint champs. (CJL and Dooley... BBB and Storm... could be interesting!) But now there's gonna be a tournament, and other teams will get in on the action, which kind of spoils the whole "huge feud" angle. Disappointing, all I can say.
The ones who were robbed the most were the fans!

2 words that will hopefully be said by the powers that in the near future that will make things right LADDER MATCH
And for anyone who cares the Australian Supershow had about 470 in attendance on the other side of the country hehehehe
Master D- 11-13-2005
Ok Boourns to the tag titles being put open for any tag team to get them! but this is good because this means Awsome Inc Now go for them, which is what is commonly refured to as "the coolest". Congrates to Mikey for winning, im happy that you won insted if that alter boy Jag. Also Congrates to shane Haste, You Da Man! But biggest respect goes to FN Carnage & Azazal. I dont think it really matters who won that match because rightfully you both had a kickass match. and i heard the final numbers for RA was around 700ish. WOOO HOO!

What a great show. Four matches which could have all been the main event. Everyone involved with EPW stepped up for their biggest show yet and I'm so glad they drew such a massive croud like they did. they deserve all the cashola that we brought.
To the wrestlers and other perfomers thank you for a great night of wrestling you put on.
I really hope EPW can continue to bring in that many fans for each show. I'm hoping at the next show i get turned away because the Venville is too small to fit the 1000 people that turn up to watch the grea-*test*-('") wrestling in Australia. I would be sad to miss the show but so happy that EPW were receiveing the support that they deserve.
As a long time fan of EPW I can remeber how much it sucked when Perth had no regular wrestling going on. And its great to be able to go and watch actuall PROFESIONAL WRESTLING in perth
Thanks again to everyone in EPW I am greatly in debt to all of you for my Re-Awakening experiance.
