I just got back from EPW and it was pretty good, but slightly dissapointing. Don't get me wrong, I had fun and it was enjoyable, but it just didn't feel like "The biggest EPW event of all time" despite Anti-Static live and the first ever WA cage match. Jag and Mikey was an awesome match, I was DYING to see Jag win but. Still a great match and a suprise finish (What, with Jags finisher defeating him and all) Michelle's return was nice, titles vacated= ??? I'll get into depth about it another time, my voice is sore (And we all know you need strong voices to type on a message board) and I need to go masterbate.

Barricade Boy...... *shudders* Shane Haste really impressed tonight, Kiel E didn't do too bad either. 8 Man tag was alright, was interesting because two tag teams had been split for the match. Jimmy Payne v Psychofett was the big disappointment in my opinion, don't get me wrong, they're great wrestlers and I usually enjoy they're matches, but I was disappointed with this. Azazel v FN Carnage. Great match, the crowd was really into it and some of those moves really made you cringe. Invitational Tournament Final. I was disappointed with the finish to this, Shane Haste had impressed all night, although we know how good Havok is, it would have been nice to see Shane really step up in EPW and show what he's made of. G$T v The Forefathers. I love G$T, they're matches with Awesome Inc at Evolution and Hell Or High Water really showed what tag team matches should be. It was interesting seeing the titles vacated, perhaps a 4 team ladder match for the titles? :shock: G$T v Awesome Inc v The Forefathers v Chris Vice and AZ Vagara ?? Mikey v Jag. Well, basically all of Mikeys matches go down extremely well with the fans, this was no exception.

Awesome awesome show. There were some problems with it though I think time wise. Putting up and down the cage led to the show running really long which I think also led to Mikey vs. Jag being slightly rushed and the crowd being tired. Basically all the matches rocked though, bitterly disappointed that Shane didn't win the Invitational though. Oh and it's a travesty that the Iron Man didn't win match of the year. Richter vs. Mikey was an awesome awesome match but it wasn't as good as the Iron man. I guess I put the Iron Man losing down to the fact that people didn't want to vote for a match with just Storm and Jag in and that it took place in January and we had all the new fans who came with the move who hadn't seen it.

I agree with the Iron Man comment. Easily the best match in Australian wrestling history

Oh and I forgot to say earlier but the set design was fanbloodytastic. EPW's sets are at a professional level and that was easily the best one I have ever seen. I was worried that we might not get the screen this year, but my worries were for nothing as EPW delivered again. Oh and also great to see the huge amount of people there, there must've been what 700?

With the cage unfortunately EPW were in a bit of a quandy, do they have the cage match last and therefore the show finishes earlier for the fans which might be good for the fans but at the same time this may indicate that the Championship match isn't as " important as it would have to be the semi-main.............I know it doesnt seem a big deal but this is one of the things they would of had to take into consideration Was a great night all round :) We invited a wrestling virgin to the show and he was going off and he got all emotional at the end, and this is someone in their early 20s we are talking about......he has now been converted hehe

All in all I enjoyed last night. Wasnt disappointed at all. EPW promised us a great event, and they delivered yet again. Biggest suprise of the night, how good to see Slick rRck back, even if it was for only 10 minutes.. My throat went downhill from there with too much screaming... But I loved every minute last night.. except for the kids standing in our way... lil buggers.

And don't get me wrong Mikey's my favourite wrestler in EPW bar none, but Jag vs. Davis Storm was better than anything else this year. No other match this year had as great a story behind it. The progression to Storm turning was phenomanal. But yeah reason why Iron Man lost was due to both Storm and Jag being heels and the extra fans who didn't see the match cause they've only been coming since EPW moved to the Venville Centre.

Did anyone else think the new ring seems louder? I reckon the hits all seem more blood curdling - I had 2 girls with me who were just cringing at every slam.

Wow...frigging hell that was masive! Thanks EPW...you rock my world How many ppl from back in the day did I see there? Ericaamerica, Patric Spicers sister, Dan haggard and 5 of my mates who promised to come but I seroiously didn't think they'd make it....I had one of the best nights ever...and they are all converted to the wrestling cause...wonderbar! That was one hell of an event the main event was Awesome! even if Jag did lose, The steel cage match was good not as good as i thought itd be but still good (No more little Azazels will be running around after that drop and he'll have a rather high pitched voice, you know what im talking about!). But van anyone answer me this? why the hall was everyone wearing short shorts apart from being disturbing it would have surely been uncomfortable. As for a Ladder match for the tag titles, if the tables match at RA last year is anything to go by itd be one hell of a matcg! disappointed to see the Ironman match didn't get match of the year and it confuses mme to think that Evo got event of the year despite the fact three of the match of the year nominiees came from hell or high water
