Random thoughts
ReAwakening is now gone and we once again begin the wait for the next event. I hate this part. So until then, we can all review what we have learnt and wwhat we thought of the event. Feel free to post your own thoughts, show your colours... and yes of course, we cant forget the petty bitching, but lets keep that to a minimum. For me, a few thing stood out. 1. Slick Rick STILL rocks! Absolutely. Even seeing him for that short time, was still great to know he's around. 2. Some people get awards. Some people deserve them. Maybe we should try and learn the difference next year kiddies? Vote for the best, not your faves! Best match was Mikey and Richter? I think not. Ironman all the way, and no it's not just because I'm a fan of the Forefathers. It's because it's true. Chris Vice... well I hate to admit it but he is a great wrestler, he's growing on me and his acceptance speech helped. Quoting the greatness of Bill and Ted! Duuuuuude! But I was still rooting for the Don! And I am bitterly disappointed. Lets see Chris Vice survive in a match against Jag. Yeah, thats what I thought. The Don rocks! 3. The tournament was great. James Street grabbing Devlin's ass? And then bitchslapping him? Couldn't have imagined anything better. I almost died laughing. And the constant princess chants... Love it. I was proud to see both Shane and Kiel taking a huge step up the singles ladder. Great wrestling from both of these guys. 4. Burbank sucks! Just when I was beginning to fall in love with him again, the jokes and wit were most improved from last event... he turns around and VACATES THE TITLES! If I see that man in the street I'll... kick him in the shins? Shake my fist at him? Shake my head at him and tell him "Shame."? I dont know, but I'm not happy about it. I wanted the match to continue. I thought it was a huge let down, especially after CJL came out with his foot in fully working order. Could have been a great match. Stupid Burbank. Shame! 5. The purple theme of the Forefathers... what's up with that? Not cool, not cool at all. Especially not J.P's pants. Shocking. And the hiding, begging and generally bitchiness? Guys COME ON! What's going on? I want my babies back! Wrestle like you mean it! And no, I am in no way dissing them, I just noticed that they weren't up to their normal levels of Greatness. 6. Cage Match? Wow. But it took WAY long to set up. Definately worth it though, and I say again wow. 7. Jag... was... ROBBED! Not going into it but will simply say "Not happy!" 8. I thought Antistatic were great, but a lot of the crowd didnt seem into them. Pity. And lastly of all... I'm sorry but I just HAVE to say it... WE SAW JAG'S BOTTOM! wE SAW JAG'S BUTT! Was my first time to an EPW event. Having been meaning to go for the last 6 months after a chance meeting with Michelle. I was suitably impressed with the whole set up. I went to a Smackdown event in England a few years back and it was no where near as enjoyable as last night. The closeness of the fans to the action was insane. The banter was unstoppable. The wrestling was good as well. I knew it would be a good night when in the first match, Shane dived over the top rope onto Richter and Devlin to start the action. Some of the bumps during the night were nuts. Especially Mikeys dive into the crowd. I was wetting myself it was that crazy. Having stood in the Drinking section i heard some amusing stuff.... 1. Following Physchofett losing he was walking to the back, Someone shouted 'You Tapped Out' to which he responded 'Tap This' and pointed to his ass. Brilliant it was. 2. Abusing Lukey and him turning round and shouting 'Go Home 4 Eyes'. A gem. 3. Devlin calling a women in front of me a bitch and to go home. So amusing. 4. 'You'll never have a baby' after Azazal got balled on the cage door. Poor bugger. He'll be sore for a few days after that.... It was just a funny good night. I'm so going next time Match of night was definitely Mikey v Jag despite it being rushed,. But i thought everyone had a good match, Havok looked a bit worse for wear in the 3 way after getting a bodged drop kick.... Think he had mild concussion. Anyways, COOL ROBDOG

EPW, EPW, EPW what an amazing fucking event. the atmoshere was so amazing. The stage setup, the talent the crowd.... thw whole fucking lot proves why EPW is the best damn wrestling fed in the Southern Hemishere. A big thanks to all the staff n crew that made the whole lot possible. a special thanks to carni and azazal for a top effort to bring us the first ever wa cage match. Once again the barricade bitches managed to piss me off. i was a little dissapointed with the outcomes of the night but thats wrestling i guess. carter

im sourly disapointed that rove didnt turn up after i took a whole 3 mins e-mailing him but it is true i come for the talent of the wrestlers there is to much talent to name but i will try with some of my favourites all time favourite = richter close second would be JAG then havok too bad he aint a permanent fixture maybe then VICEY but i dont care what any you mikey fans say mikey is a fuckwit and i was proud to be chanting that as mikey entered

Apparently Rove was in NZ doing there TV Awards or something like that.........fair enough excuse I say then again maybe not :P Was anyone else amazed like me the way Haste pulled off that Frakensteiner on Havok, a running jump sideways over the top rope like that is something I haven't seen before and I have seen a lot of wrestling in my time :)

still disapointed in rovey cos sombody needs to put lukey in his place......ejecting fans......threatening to sue wrestlers why come to an event and be ringside if your afraid to be hurt

i woulda joined the bar area but i was gonna go to a party after so i was just gonna get pissed there but after i saw mikey win i was in no way in any mood to celebrate i almost burst a blood vessal when mikey beat jag what kind of a man pulls another mans pants down

Hey, that is the one good thing I've seen Mikey do in a while. Who's going to complain about Jag's fine 'hind? Well re-phrase, what female will complain about it? You guys saw enough flesh with the Dynamite Dolls, they had to balance it somehow, and for that I, on behalf of all the female fans, thank the powers-that-write-the-script. Dru
