A message was passed on regarding YOURRRRR FACE.

Both the Challenge Stadium and Bunbury shows were awesome. Am I the only one that thinks that the Challenge Stadium show was better than the WWE Show at Burswood earlier in the year?? How in the hell did Vanderpyle manage to fit through the cage door?? Speaking of which, I've been trying to work something out that everyone on here seems to be mentioning. How can Jag & Haste be the NWA World Tag Team champs after winning a non-Title match?? Congrats and thanks to all those involved in the 2 shows! Well Done!!

Speaking of which, I've been trying to work something out that everyone on here seems to be mentioning. How can Jag & Haste be the NWA World Tag Team champs after winning a non-Title match?? First things first, no. The WWE show was shit. Secondly, I have freakin' no idea. Thirdly it was announced thar there would be a World Tag Team Championship defence on the NWA Australian tour. Anderson and Ryan came out and said that they refused to defend it in the cage. Haste and Jag won and Marquez was annoyed at the last minute change and so "in his eyes" Haste and Jag were the rightful NWA World Tag Team Champions.

It was never specified that the cage match was for the titles. The title match was always said to be on the Bunbury leg of the show. And yeah, compared to the Challenge Stadium show (or any half-decent show, I spose), the WWE show was terrible.

Don't mean to sound like a typical (but as Brad West correctly put it on saturday night) Interent Smark. Any show with AmDrag is going to piss over of a WWE house show, especially one that riddled with, injury, draft losses, quiting and firing's and saddly suicide.

Ahhh ... OK ... so Jag & Haste weren't officially announced as the new NWA World Tag Team champs. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

It's not as if you could have realistically gone into the WWE show expecting a thrilling technical masterpiece. The WWE show, for me atleast, was about the novelty and spectacle that "these are the guys I've watched for years on television, and now they're here live." The matches are more about giving us, the crowd, the moves we recognize and enjoy live, and telling a simple story that the crowd can get behind. I do believe the NWA show was all out better than the WWE show, but the WWE show was good in my opinion *for what it was.* I think if you expected anything other than the above, you set yourself up for disappointment before you even found your seats in the Dome.

I agree, the WWE show was all about the spectacle and whizz bang of all the excitment of the biggest Rastlin' show of all time is town, let's go bat shit crazy! and of the 3 wwe shows to roll through town in recent memory it was by far IMHO the best, (which was a pleasent surprise). But I've come to point in fandom where bigger don't mean better, that show was the 1st time i'd ever seen the Major brothers or Duece 'n Domino, I think the were a few others I'd seen for the 1st time as well. I think if EPW scheudled a show on the same night as WWE show in perth I'd have to go to the EPW show, WWE just dosen't float my boat any more, it's okay to watch ocasionally, Well with Y2J back I may up my watching.

yeah i have gone off the WWE and TNA product it just doesnt interest me anymore, i much prefer to find out what is happening with indy feds....

KennedyIsGod- 11-27-2007

After that NWA show, my intrest for WWE dropped heaps.

That was my first live EPW experience, being that I live in Victoria, and I must say I was very impressed by both the shows, and the professionalism and effort shown by all in putting them on. Good stuff guys!
