I'm just spewing that it's on a Friday night and not a Saturday??? At least the tickets will have a seat number so you won't need to line up early like we do now..... The Wildcats play the Melbourne Tigers there the night after.

Ticketmaster still have nothing about it on their site.

Ticketmaster still have nothing about it on their site. I called them last week and they knew nothing but I trust David Marquez wil have it all sorted.

If they diss Australia and then walk into this event. The wanker chant will be into play from the first second. Machine Gun Is Da bomb...There will be quite a few of his fans there even though he disses us. Im one of them

Hey guys I was just scanning over the Chikara results and I came across something of interest. JULY 21st @ Knights of Columbus Hall (Wallingford, CT) 4. NWA Title Tournament Quarter-Final: Claudio Castagnoli pinned Sicodelico, Jr. to advance in the tournament. So is that the Australian tourny or is there another one going on in the States? Either way I'm sure it was a good match and the show sounded pretty good. May as well post the full card. JULY 21st @ Knights of Columbus Hall (Wallingford, CT) 1. Los Ice Creams picked up their 2nd point by beating The Olsen Twins. 2. Ophidian beat Player Uno via submission. 3. The Colony defeated F.I.S.T. & Maxime Boyer when Fire Ant pinned Boyer. 4. NWA Title Tournament Quarter-Final: Claudio Castagnoli pinned Sicodelico, Jr. to advance in the tournament. 5. Shayne Hawke & 2.0 were victorious over Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw & Shane Storm when Hawke pinned Storm. 6. Eddie Kingston beat Tim Donst. 7. Hallowicked & Cheech & Cloudy defeated UltraMantis Black & Hydra & Crossbones. 8. Lince Dorado made Chris Hero tap out with the CHIKARA Special.

How did Cheech and Cloudy end up higher on the card than Claudio, Jigsaw and Quack?

That was the Quarter-Final for the NWA Heavyweight Title Tournament. Claudio now has a semi-final match against Brent Albright.

So is that the Australian tourny or is there another one going on in the States? I think this one is the NWA World Title Tourni. The Australian one happens here in Nov apart from a couple of qualifying matches. I dont think Claudio is in the Aust Tourni.

thatguy665- 07-22-2007

Yeh I didn't think this was part of the Aus tournament. Oh well, Claudio is still coming so I may still make the journey to the show. If Rocky is there then the deal may almost be sealed. Also, Cheech and Cloudy have been beyond great this year and they're having a good run in Chikara. Not really a surprise that they have a high placed match. Also the fact that Shane Storm still sucks very, very hard has taken alot away from any match hes in. It's a shame. 2.0 and Shayne Hawke together sounds quite awesome though.

96fm have started running radio ads for the NWA Event. The ads say there's 9 matches on the card. The tournament takes up 7 matches, and then there's the USA vs Australia tag match. I wonder what the final match will be.

NWAPRO- 07-23-2007

Tune in to 96FM for Gavin Miller's Rock Report this afternoon for part I of an exclusive interview with David Marquez.
