"Of course Azazal's a wanker, where do you think Grimace gets his special sauce from?"
That was the funniest line of the night for me, lol.

I yelled out 'he's got scurvy!' last night when Black Pearl Couldn't stand properly.

Second night was about the same as the first quality-wise, but Storm vs. Mikey was a better quality match.
The night was made more fun via crowd/wrestler interaction, the obvious and best example being Black Pearl.
All the international stars seem polite and it was great to see Pearl and Cannon etc. greeting fans afterwards.
The EPW crew were tops as always, and seem to never run out of time for the crowd. Tony the ref, Carnage and Mikey letting fans pose with his belt was great, and it's that attitude and atmosphere that makes EPW a great thing.
Blowing a kiss to/recieving one back from Martinez was a great way to finish the night as I left. Marvellous.
YARGH~

What can I say? Night 2 kicked night 1's arse! Then again this show was alot more EPW then Friday's was.
Results:
NWA Australian Champion Mikey Nicholls def. Davis Storm in a non-title match
F.N Carnage and Dan Moore def. The European Union (Michael Morleone and Marcius Pittsanopoulos)
John Cannon def. Brad West (w/Vin Penhero)
Mercedes Martinez def. Lord Jonathan Wimbledon
Shane Haste def. Xander, Jay Taylor and Jimmy Payne in a 4-Way Dance
Bobby Marshall def. Richter
Mana def. Jose' Del Santo
Rikishi and "Supreme" Lee Great (w/Mercedes Martinez) def. Gangrel and Black Pearl (w/John Cannon)
Mikey/Storm was a great technical match with both guys working well together.
John Cannon put on a good match with West battling to the outside and getting tonnes of heat (West and Penhero). Newspapers aplenty in this match.
Martinez and Johnny put on a good showing including a HUGE stalling suplex by Martinez. Johnny played his character great and it was a very enjoyable match.
The 4-Way Dance was crazy. Shane Haste did a single, double and triple standing moonsault in sucsession of each other, a flip piledriver and finished the match of with a cool new finisher mixing a Steiner Screwdriver with an Open Hart Surgery. Payne was a great heel and Taylor also got into the match well. There was also a cool top rope spot involving Xander back suplexing Haste whilst Taylor was also up there. Probably MOTN.
Bobby Marshall and Richter was also decent. Bobby the super-heel took all sorts of crap from the fans as did his mystery valet. To our discust and with a bit of help Bobby pulled out the cheap victory in a decent match.
Mana/Jose'. Well every card has its weak match I guess, sorta'. A typical squash match but with Mana botching a second-rope piledriver. Luckily De Santo was ok and he took some cool bumps. I didn't get into it though, I'm over Mana, NEXT!
An average main event I'd say. Rikishi was Rikishi and no-one cared about Lee. Cannon came out in a skeleton jumper thing and we gave him a L.A Parka chant, after that he was awesome doing poses and stuff. Rikishi was seen laughing during our various "Sultan!" chants, good stuff there. Gangrel was ok again but the stand-out in this match was Black Pearl. He jumped on our pirate train and had a wild reide, YARRRRRR!!!!
Not a great match with a bit of a poor ending, without Pearl the match would have been down the sh*tter I think.
I took some videos on my phone, I should have them up next week sometime.

So, was Lee Great face on the second show?
TezHimself- 12-01-2007
Yarrrr, he was.

So, was Lee Great face on the second show?
He was, which didn't make much sense. The night before he's heel and dissing the crowd, and then last night he's cracking the funnies with Rikishi. Also, Gangrel being heel and facing Rikishi after their teaming and 'trusting' the night before didn't make much sense either.
The hour-or-so delay at the start was a bummer. I really hope our row were the only people who paid for ringside, because the thought of others who paid for 'ringside' getting 'the row behind sponsors and family' irritates me. Lucky our row got the front row we paid for.
To be quite honest I felt it a bit of a shame to end the wrestling year with this rather than EPW, because it equates to ending the year with a fizzle after several bangs (Re-Awakening and the NWA show). Once again, I need to say well-done to the EPW crew, incl. wrestlers, referees and Callan, for still doing a stand-out job and doing what they could to improve the show. Next year's EPW will be sweeter than ever.
RattleSnake- 12-01-2007
I feel sorry for whoever missed out on last night. John Cannon VS Brad West was awesome.
Are we gonna start calling Xander Hamburglar?
KennedyIsGod- 12-01-2007
Damn, I so wanted to go to that show.
I was a Lee Great fan after his match, I love the mic workers.
And at the first night, there was a announcers desk, but no announcers, what was up with that?
RattleSnake- 12-01-2007
Forgot to mention that Shane Haste............
PULLED OFF A FLIP PILEDRIVER!!!!!!!

If a certain ring announcer wasn't sitting there night 1 Baconfudge and I were going to go sit there and do "commentary".
