NHPW show What a waste of money EVERY ringside seat was RESERVED for sponsors and MANA'S family and most of the sponsors laughed at the wrestling and walked out b4 halftime to go to the PUB and if it wasnt for the EPW wrestlers i would have walked out myself considering we had to line up and they just got to walk straight in. Expect the same thing on Saturday night as it will be the same with most ringside seats being reserved but they werent sure which ones or how many THEY ARE SO ORGANISED...So whoever paid for ringside might be in the second row... The wrestlers who came over in my opinion were nothing better than backyarders.. I will never go to another NHPW show and i feel sorry for whoever is going tomorrow night..... This isnt against EPW but it was a really bad show....... :x :x :x :x

I agree on some of your points.
We pay, they don't, the crowd was smaller than EPW standards anyway. And during autograph signings, you couldn't even talk to Rikishi, he would just say "next". The indy guys were respectful and you could actually chat to them.
I disagree about the comments on the wrestler, they were pretty good.
The advertising = crap, which leads to a crap crowd.
Heres my results:
"Supreme" Lee Great and Brad West def. Mikey Nicholls and FN Carnage via pinfall
FN Carnage won a battle royal to get him a NHPW contract
Ritcher def. Michael Morlene via pinfall
"Preacher" John Cannon and Martinez Mercedes def. The European Union via pinfall
Shane Haste and Davis Storm def. Azazal and Jimmy Payne via pinfall
Black Pearl def. Jose Del Santo via pinfall
Gangrel and Rikishi (w/ John Cannon) def. Bobby Marshall and Mana
My Autographs:
Rikishi
John Cannon
Lee Great
Gangrel
Black Pearl
Martinez Mercedes
If theres anything I missed out, tell me.

I don't think it was that bad, although the reserved seats was a bit of a pain. But what can you do.
It was nice to see Rikishi and Gangrel, and the EPW wrestlers were atleast good as always.
I wouldn't rate it above EPW to be honest, but it wasn't without it's charms. Once the show got underway it improved, after seeing familiar faces like Callan and the EPW wrestlers.
Obviously the crowd was smaller, and the real shame is that there was a fair portion of that already small crowd who remained silent. Nice opportunity for some great interaction with wrestlers, however.
Seeing Johnny get beat up by a girl was also a positive. To all the international wrestlers credit - incl. Rikishi, Martinez and Gangrel - they were really nice in person for the signings and photos.
It didn't feel quite right in the Venville with no EPW crowd, Lukey/Olsen or that EPW feel. But for what it was, NHPW was a pretty decent show in unique ways; international stars and crowd/wrestler interaction.

By the sounds of it I'm really glad I didn't attend this show... Seriously questioning tomorrow night despite how close it is to my house.

My god what a waste of $30!
Mikey Nicholls and F.N carnage jobbing in the curtain jerker? Get on the phone Mikey, call Adelaide and ask to be booked on Re-Emerging! Take your title and run!
MOTN easily goes to the second tag match which funnily enough was an all EPW tag match.
Mercedes Martinez was good, its a pity John Cannon isn't. Anybody that believes that he was a threat to Marcius was kidding themselves.
I love Richter and I love Morleone but it was just a bad match-up featuring a quiet crowd which did not help.
Black Pearl was good and surprisingly enough Jose' Del Santo (no offence mate) was a great opponent for him.
Gangrel moved good for the shape he was in but Rikishi was not. He should seriously be worried about his health. Bobby Marshall was great as always.
I feel sorry for F.N Carnage aswell, that contract isn't something to really be proud of, check his bay page soon folks!
What can I say second half wasn't too bad but the first was. One of the worst if not the worst event I have ever seen live. Can't wait for EPW to return in '08.
PSYCHOBIATCH- 11-30-2007
I agree I.T the second half wasn't as bad as the first but still bad. EPW guys were great as always, but with no crowd interaction from anyone, apart from us 9, there was dead silence. I feel sorry for Bobby being in such a crap tag match. They should have left it as single matches...

Indeed, Lee pinned Carnage with the ropes.

That result did piss me off.

My thoughts exactly.

Regardless, I've got a ticket for tonight already and am going to once again make as much noise as I can for the EPW boys. The crowd might be beyond salvaging due to size and silence, but I'll try anyway. Still have to show appreciation for the fellows in the ring whom deserve it.
KennedyIsGod- 11-30-2007
The advertising should have been much better. And tickets should have been easier to buy too.
NewF'nShow666- 11-30-2007
To be honest here, how many of you guys went in with unrealistic expectations? By the looks of the site, NHPW looks like a fed filled with over the hill TV guys, indy journeymen and token spots given to the local and probably far superior talent, if you went in expecting something on par with what you saw at NWA, you were always going to be disappointed.
There's a few things on there that'd be worth a look IMO, Supreme Lee Great used to be a pretty good worker back in the day and if Martinez is who I think she is then i'd pay money just to see her beat up people and drop them on their heads, hell i'd even mark for Gangrel.
in training- 11-30-2007
For ticket prices as they were the show should of rivaled EPW quality however it did not. Sure its no NWA Pro Supershow but it should be a top quality indy fed for what we paid.

Last Nights chants were hilarious, RRR.....
So who is going to NHPW tonight and who apart from myself enjoyed last nights show?
