just one thought, EPW only used half the space on the basketball court, this result in quite a few people having to stand (which isnt really much of a problem when you're into the match) but perhaps they could use all thats available and put more seats out? The problem with that is that it'll look crap if you've got this huge area with just a few people in it. The venue would've looked horrible had they not had the black curtain down covering the other basketball court, and I don't think there were enough people without seats to warrant needing to take that away. yes, but, as mentioned earlier in this thread, if EPW advertise they would become a much larger organisation (fan wise) and that space could possibly become necassary.

i though the new venue was great. it had the capacity to hold more people and it did. all my friends were able to attend this time because of the more central location. i saw more seats being put out at the start of the night. did EPW unestimate the amount of people who would attend. here's to EPW no longer being held in a tin shed.

Hopefully by re-awakening EPW will be getting crowds big enough to fill both courts

cant argue with the more central location, the crowd seemed bigger as a result. Plus theres plenty of growing room, only half of the place was used.

It was totally awesome the new arena but ill agree with others. I just didnt have the old feel like the cockman pavillion did. I mean its sweet but dam the cockman pavillion was awesome....so many memories. But Ill go wherever EPW does so.

.. which is just what everyone said when they moved from the Wanneroo Civic Centre.. which was even smaller than both of them. Given time I'd say this place will be just as successful, and I hope we're bitching down the line when EPW moves into an even BIGGER place someday! :p

I actually really like the new place, even though it's further from my house, it seems more "buildingy" than "sheddy". Although line issues need to be sorted out, a friend of the family almost got in a punch-up coz sum fag decided he would push in because he had a presold ticket, this was a result of the fact that know one seems to know where to line up.
