why would you make a new thread to disagree with an opinion that was voiced in another thread. thats just stupid. EPW started out as a "backyard" thing with untrained wrestlers. its probably how a lot of wrestlers started out. mick foley was the same.

I think everyone here is missing the point. People change. Take Malachi for example. From what i hear around the place, nice bloke, and has some ability in the ring. Now, everyone has to start somewhere, and for him it was wrestling on matrasses in backyards. I hate to break it to you all, but you ask most wrestlers, minus those who trained in olympic wrestling, will have a history with mates in a backyard. And Murph was right, Mikey is good, but not the best. The biggest difference is that Murphy is a smark (Likes people for their ability and potential) where as I_love_mikey and Mike Rules are just Marks, who need to understand that there are alot of people out there better than Mikey. Just to name a few, Jag.... Ok, i said there were some, i never said there were many! So just ease up on Malachi... if he was still a backyarder, he would be dead... dah! And whats the point of starting a mark-ass thread like this, without getting people who disagree with you! Ben!

Mikey has the ability that not many other wrestlers have and that is the abiltiy to inspire crowds sure h e may not be the best in the world but i aint saying that im just saying he is a standard great champ. :D every match his in people stand for he is undoubtly a level above the other epw wrestlers gst are the only ones who come close jag is ok aswell and i think as much as we hate lukey he is entertaining aswell 8) from timmy ps we should start table chants next event :?:

Its funny how people who are/were "backyarders", who have a wrestling web site, who are concidered smarks by other internet chumps, who are simply going out or f*#king a wrestler think their opinions should be held in the highest reguards above others. You are all missing the big picture. EPW puts on one of the best indapendant shows around in the world for the low cost of $16.50 a seat. You should be thankful EPW is not a Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide based promotion where they could easily get bigger crowds or greater earnings! I guess some EPW wrestlers did start in the backyard but then i hear they went to Adelaide (out of their own pocket not EPW's) to be trained by Australias best to become acredited trainers and wrestlers, how many backyarders can say they have done that for the sport they love. They came back and opened up the Dynamite Factory to become Perth's only acredited pro wrestling trainers who now hold training camps once or twice a year. There is nolonger any reason to backyard or be "proud" to call yourself one. Now we have great Perth wrestlers like The Don, Bobby Bad Blood, and Brad West because of the training at the Dynamite Factory. EPW does not have the backyarder tag nationly or internationly because every one has worked so hard to improve the company where it is now regaurded as Australias best promotion. Not only do the put on regular shows but good ones as well with awesome wrestling. Bottom Line is nothing lasts forever its the hard work you put in that makes it memrable, be thankful for what you have and we have a great local promotion By the way Mikey is the best he has the belt! D.O.L.E.

Cause Richter had the brains and foresaw the opportunity and took it.. which would make him the best at that moment, intellectually.
