Matches Announced!!! 29/03/06 - Sudden Impact Update
EPW’s next event, Sudden Impact will take place on the 22nd of April 2006 at the Venville Rec Centre in Maylands.
After the events of Stand and Deliver the entire landscape of EPW has changed. With the EPW championship changing hands, management are now faced with the dilemma of having a champion who has commitments to another federation.
With Havok holding both the EPW championship and the MPW title in South Australia, he is simply not available to defend the title at every EPW event. Evolution is fast approaching and we require a #1 contender to face Havok on Night 2.
So the main event for Sudden Impact will see a six man scramble match to determine the #1 contender for Evolution. EPW officials have already named the first two men for this match. As the former champion, Mikey has gained immediate entry into the match. The other, is Jimmy Payne who has not been pinned in an EPW main show in almost a year.
The other four wrestlers will be decided in matches to be held at the coming EPW Goldmembers house show.
GST will face the European Union in their first defense since claiming the titles back at Settling the Score. The Union are a young, hungry team and will stop at nothing to steal the belts away from Bobby and CJL. GST will need to bring their A-game to turn back the #1 contenders.
And although Re-Awakening is more than 6 months away, one man will take his first steps to get there at Sudden Impact. Psychofett and Devlin Reeves will go one on one for a shot in the Re-Awakening Invitational tournament. Every winner of this tournament has gone on to wear EPW gold so this is a must win for both men.
And in an interesting decision, EPW officials have chosen for the ‘Fallen Angel’, Azazal, to go up against Chris Vice. Strangely, Azazal’s nemesis, the ‘American Nightmare’, Brock Freeman will take on Vice ex tag team partner, AZ Vegara.
So what does everyone think????? a 6 man scrample main event=AWSOME

No Shane Haste or Jay 'Good Charlotte' Taylor?
jaffa- 03-29-2006
Haste may be in the main event however I also note AZ is in a qualifying match for the main event at the house show so hopefully the result of that match hasn't been given away.................I must say the card for the house show could be the card for a regular show :)

Vice vs Azazal round 2. I love it.
AZ vs The American Nightmare.... noooooo why why why. Its ok AZ, u can do IT. Im glad he's back, but he's gotta realise AZ is climbing the ladder to success. Next Stop Evolution to take on Havok
Psychofett & Devlin Reeves
Something tells me this will be nothing like their softcore matches of old
GST v EU
Jonny is undefeated in his last 3 or 4 outings. An upset could be on the cards
Main Event - AZ Vegara. Yes he'll sweep the floor with James Street at the house show to qualify for this match. Then win. Then onto Evolution to bring the title back to Perth

GST are going to destroy the Union!
CJL was hardley a liability for the last couple of months despite recovering from a broken foot, he's going to be kick arse with two good feet. And it sounds like Bobby showed another level of toughness at the house show against Ex EPW Champ (He held the title for a fucking long time and defended it more than anyone else probably ever has) Mikey. Plus GST got a warm up against one hell of a dysfunctional team in Kiel and James Street so they should be raring to go.
While i think the future is bright for the EU in EPW's tag title chase, I don't think that saturday is going to be their night. The Don has been stepping up lately and Wimbledon is turning into a real sneaky little cheating bastard. But yeah, no tag titles for them this weekend.
