HUGE News for Evolution 2007
Explosive Pro Wrestling have handed us two huge announcements in regards to the annual two night extravaganza, Evolution. Evolution is set to be held on the 4th & 5th of May 2007 at the Venville Recreation Centre. Now onto the announcements. The first pertains to the longest running tournament in Australian wrestling, the EPW Invitational tournament. For the first time ever, the Invitational tournament will NOT be held at RE-AWAKENING. Rather it will be held over the two nights of Evolution 2007. And it will go back to being a true ‘INVITATIONAL’. There will be no qualifying matches for the tournament. EPW officials have decided to invite four wrestlers to participate in the tournament with a shot at the EPW championship up for grabs. The first two names to be announced for the tournament are former Invitational winner, Richter, and the Awe Inspiring Shane Haste. And speaking of the EPW championship, the Board of Directors have made a decision regarding the main event of Evolution 2007. The EPW championship has been defended in the main event of Evolution for the past three years and this year will be no exception. BUT, it will not be in a normal championship match. On May 5th 2007, the EPW championship will be defended in EPW’s very first LADDER MATCH. This is a huge announcement as the champion will not have to be pinned in order to lose the championship. Tickets will go on sale soon for this two night spectacular. Stay tuned for more news. A LADDER MATCH!!!!!! OMG A LADDER MATCH!!!!!! This is one of the reasons worth living for. Haha ok a little overexagerated but this is gonna be freaking awsome. Im gonna get my ticekt as soon as they go on sale. O man this is sooo sweet

Richter and Shane Haste. Woooo! That sounds awesome. The ladder match should be good and I expect that the competitors will put in their all. Also Vision, The Arena now has tonnes of flyers and a big 'All For One' Poster up, so we can pick some more flyers up there. That also means more advertising which should mean more fans.

My dream match for EPW is Haste vs. Vice in a Ladder Match. Now that a ladder match is taking place for the first time, this could be one step closer to reality.

I would actually be fairly alarmed to see Haste, Vice or Jonathan in a ladder match, those crazy bastards are likely to kill themselves.

A LADDER MATCH, A LADDER MATCH, A LADDER MATCH, A LADDER MATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PAYNE VS WHO....... MAN THEY ARE TAKING EPW TO NEW HIGHTS! (literally lol). Payne falling off the ladder and going through the ring coz hes huge would be awesome. OMG WAT CAN WE EXPECT?!!!

A Ladder match. Intriuging it is. dangerous it is to climb to the top, for fall of into the dark side of the force you might, heights lead to falling falling leads to payne and payne leads to victory. But we haven' taken into consideration, (God forbid) that Jimmy might lose title before then, cant see it but it could happen, this is definately a match for Shane Haste.

Does this mean that the entire tournement will take place on night one with the winner facing (assuming Payne as there is no title defence scheduled at all for one) the Champ in the Ladder ME at night 2. Assuming that Jimmy has no EPW Adelaide title denfenses between now and night 2. Or does the tourny winner get crownd on night 2 and face who ever the champ may be at a future event?

Either Way There is going to be a ladder match, and my guess, there will only be one ladder: the one they used at Re-Awakening 2003 in the street fight for Control of EPW. The only way Payne won't be in is if the Forefathers piss Burbank off and Burbank puts jimmy in a surprise title match. By the way, anyone know when Bobby Marshal is returning. I expect there will be some unfinished business. Possible Invitaional entrants anyone? Possible Ladder match con-*test*-('")ants? Hey just to finish off, did EPW say it was going to be one on one because if not it could be fatal four way or even better a six-man (armaggedon) ladder match.

Big Kev excited! Jimmy defending the title = always awesome but Jimmy with weapons is incredible. Jimmy at RA03 in the Uprising vs EPW street fight, Jimmy vs CJL at Hell or Highwater last year, Jimmy vs Devlin at the last show. And now he's in a ladder match.... this is gonna be good!
