can i just ask, were any of u people who support the forefathers(with the exception of D.O.L.E) ACTUALLY there from the beginning? i tend to think not. From what i've seen on these forums, the majority (95%ish) of fans from the early days who knew of these wrestlers before they deemed themselves "forefathers" dont support them now. How can you newbie fans justify supporting these guys. "How can u judge what u never knew". Im not meaning to attack your opinions, its just that it doesnt make sense. So many people other than the forefathers, have worked there asses off to get to where they are, but u support the people that insult and spew out verbal abuse in your direction. What the??? Its like the wife that constantly goes back to their violent partner, what logic is behind this? The forefathers are talented, but seriously, why would you support them. Just for the record Chad I used to go to ECW back in the day... I remember when Richter was a lot more Richter-ish and a whole lot less Undertaker-ish. Given that I didnt go to a huge amount of the matches, I wasnt able to, but I got all the updates from friends and on site and managed to follow it pretty well in between events. Started coming again regularly this year but I sure as hell wouldn't consider myself a 'newbie'. I even checked out the dynamite factory back in 2001? 2002? (Didnt end up joining but still). Anyway, I fell in love with a few wrestlers there... Bobby, Devlin, Psychofett, Storm and first and foremost the Vagrant! I still support all these people, and I will continue to, regardless of heel turns or glitter and gold pants! But maybe not penguin suits, big moral speeches and Christianity... that sucks in wrestling. And for the record the minute anyone in EPW turns Godly-suity-preachy on us I'll be dissing them with the rest! You can hold me to that. But for now? You think a little verbal abuse directed at the fans is going to stop me from supporting people like Nate and Storm? Hell no! I'll be a Forefathers supporter (or at least a supporter of Nate Dooley, Davis Storm, Jag, Xeriyous Blade and Lukey -hey the guy is funny-) If Psycho or Bobby wanna turn bad and start swearing about me too, unlikely but hey, they can go ahead! I'll still be standing there cheering them on! I go to the wrestling because I love the sport, not because of the gimmicks or how the wrestlers are alligned. I cheer who I want to cheer and you can do the same. I suppose I'll let you. And as for me? Well what a suprise, I still love Nate Dooley, still love Davis Storm and Lukey, and Psychofett and Bobby... all of them. And some of the new guys too... Chris Vice and his happy pants are growing on me. So... after this incredibly long and pointless post I remain, alas, a Forefathers fan, and if you're at Re-Awakening I'll be the one cheering for Storm! As I always have, and probably always will. (Kinda like Jimmy cant understand why Psychofett wont run with the forefathers). Sides im not doubting or discrediting their talent. I just dont agree with their deceptive egotistical ways. But hey i wont go into that for "it might sound preachy" and u dont like that :? Even tho i dont know how someone who doesnt conform to any particular religious belief can acheive this. But back to the topic... I've known these guys for quite sometime now, and dont get me wrong, they might have had my respect once upon a time, but now days, its a different story.
