Devlin's Poor Form I couldn't resist posting a thread about this. But IMO, it was truely disgraceful.
When Devlin Reeves came out, he walked around the ring, copping a few jeers from front row fans.
Well there was a guy wearing an orange Shane Haste shirt near me, and he was leaning over and giving Devlin a hard time. Called him a \"pussy\" I think.
So what did Devlin do?
Walk up to him, grap him round the throat with his right hand and start yelling at him, asking him \"what is your problem\". And I don't mean he grabbed him loosely either. He grabbed his throat so hard it left dark red marks on the guy's neck.
Now that to me is unproffessional, and absolutely disgraceful. That poor guy had large red welts on his neck for the rest of the night.
What the hell was Devlin thinking?
You don't physically attack the fans! (even if they do deserve it)
A possible theory I have is that the fan gave a LOT of crap to Davis Storm earlier, and that Storm may have told Reeves about him. I dunno.
But I can say this. Devlin should NOT win the EPW title, invitational champ or not. After that disgraceful display, he does not deserve to get rewarded.
And if you don't believe this actually happened, there was about 20 witnesses that saw it.

when your devlin you can do whatever you want aswell
Little Bean- 11-05-2006
Or maybe the guy knew it was coming (It was planned) as a method for Devlin to get heat from the fans and oh from what I see it worked!
FallenInsanity- 11-05-2006
Have you ever heard of a PLANT?
The guy Devlin did it to always gets reactions like that from the wrestler's at every event.
It was well done by both.
jaffa- 11-05-2006
tho from reading the news section it looks legit.
from what I saw a scorpion was on the guys neck and Devlin grabbed it off before it could sting him............
Ruckus- 11-05-2006
Please, the guy deserved it. He goes to every show and tries to start fights with every heel that comes out. Davis Storm slapped him in the face at Boiling Point, he was just asking for it. Devlin is innocent!
MrAshWoodsworth- 11-05-2006
Yeah that guy taunts wrestlers at every show and yells out some pretty damn harsh things so im surprised it's taken so long before someone did something about it
InTheZone- 11-05-2006
I might be missing something here... but are you not meant to argue with heels? And trashtalk them? And vice versa?
InTheZone- 11-05-2006
*Double-posts~A~Wanker!*
The Vision- 11-05-2006
See has he emphasises it witha double post! he means business! lol nah he was definetly a plant. All teh wrestlers take it in good fun man just look at the union for instance. There would be no way devlin would of just gone out there straight at some random and started having a go at him like that man
dont look into it soo much and just enjoy it
killswitch- 11-05-2006
If a fan had taken a swing at Devlin for yelling stuff at the crowd we'd all be saying he was in the wrong. Unless this guy knew something personal about Devlin there's no excuse (even then, surely there's other way to handle it)
It could be a plant though, a lot of the trainees sit the the crowd. Marcius sat in front of us for a few events.
MrAshWoodsworth- 11-05-2006
Theres a difference between simple trash talking and going going too far trash talking as this guy does.
Dirty Harry- 11-05-2006
The point is that if the fan wants to take it to a serious level then they can expect to get it back. Most people don't really say much stuff to heels, just boo them and say \"you suck\" and stuff like that. And they get simple pretend threatening and anger.
The Vision- 11-05-2006
well in a PG 13+ way what exactly was he saying? cuz im still more than convinced he was a plant or a friend of devlins and it might of just been a joke between the 2
FallenInsanity- 11-05-2006
The guy seemed to be proud of it after his altercation with Devlin.... hmmmmmm....
But I still think he was a plant. It wouldn't be the first time he's been involved... maybe he was one of the tryouts that didn't get picked up by EPW
