His friends next to him didn't seem too happy though, and he wouldn't keep it that confidential if it was planned.

agreed man if the security werent in on it they wouldnt of allowed any altercation between the 2 of them
MrAshWoodsworth- 11-05-2006
If it was all a stunt with a plant then i highly doubt there would be the message on the main page looking for information on the incident.

Unless they are tryin to increase the intesity of his image for the public
killswitch- 11-05-2006
did the guy look like a trainee?
I.T Hero- 11-05-2006
How does one look like a trainee?
Serial Thriller- 11-05-2006
Or maybe he's one of the tryouts that did?

If they are thats pretty bad as this could lead to negative attention for the company. If its not a geniune incident then the company will look bad for making people thing a wrestler actually attacked a fan.
The Vision- 11-05-2006
Yeh i guess your right but i wasnt saying pulling the stunt was a good move on their behalf either lol Still reckon devlin can do what he wants tho cuz he is the invitational champ
Homicide- 11-05-2006
He was definitely not a plant.
He did NOT know what was happening. He didn't know he had red marks on his neck. Some little kid behind him pointed it out to him a good 20 minutes later.
His female friend didn't look impressed either.
I even asked him afterwards what he had said to Devlin. He was no plant.
Plus he kept rubbing his neck like it was sore.
FallenInsanity- 11-05-2006
Its hard to tell whether he was a plant or not... He's always one in the front row that gets in the face of the wrestlers at EVERY show!!
Anyway if he was a plant, he wouldn't admit anything about it being a set up etc
synista- 11-05-2006
He was a plant.
Do you think if it was planned he'd tell everyone about it afterwards? That would kill any heat Devlin recieved for it.
It was all planned and he sold it to get Devlin over a bit more.
MrAshWoodsworth- 11-05-2006
Oh and source???
Baconfudge- 11-05-2006
Heels should just ignore it, shrug it off, agrue with fans, maybe pretend to throw a punch and even tear up signs, they are meant to get negative reactions from the crowd.
Look I don't wanna burst anyone's bubble here but wrestlings, well Fake.
I'm all for Chanting Grimace at Jimmy Payne, but that doesn't mean I hate Jimmy with the white hot intensity of a 1000 suns. I'm Sure Jimmy's a decent bloke in his regular life and if saw him in the street I wouldn't call him Grimace, if said anything to him it would nothing more than to saw what great match he had at RAV, and super year EPW had overall.
They're heels we react as such.
That being said I'm the one guy whose being cheering Devlin all year. But I still blame Jay taylor's gimmick for that.
