I dont get it

All of you lot need to get over the sign fetish you have happening.
I spent 5 hours once making back to back signs, complete with paint, sparkles and colour pics of Burbank and I KNEW that I was not going to win Jack.
Seriously...who gives a toss who came up with what idea. It's just good to see the crowd getting into it.
No everyone Princess is right, no one take anymore signs to any more events becuase Princess didn't win a prize.
I ain't really in it for the prize, I make signs to get people confused and think I'm a retart. Of course a prize would be great.
Unfortunatly if you care that people are taking signs to a wrestling event, feel free to think I'm a complete fuckhead. If you don't like the signs, fair enough, don't pay attention to them.

I dont think thats what Princess was saying at all.. as a matter of fact she was saying the complete opposite.

Really? Well if I'm wrong I apologize. I kinda got the vibe that we're all being immature fools for taking signs to win some prize.
EDIT: Meh my bad, I guess she was saying that no one should pay that much attention to the prize, so long as you have fun. Which I would agree with. So... Sorry :)

You know, I think even though the forums can get a bit bitchy at times, the crowd at EPW shows is a pretty good atmosphere. Ofcourse everyone is going to argue now and then, but the bottom line is we're all fans who wanna watch some Perth wrestlers entertain us. Whether we do that 'mark' or 'smark' style, I think its great that people at the shows seem pretty nice. So just remember, EPW fans aren't always a sespool of bickering, at the EPW shows, you guys (and me and my mates too) are a pretty good crowd. Despite forum fights, or smark vs. mark, when it counts at the shows, you lot are a pretty supportive, good atmospheric crowd.
I think more signs are great too. Despite who wins, what they say, if they're funny or lame or mature or kiddy-style. More signs = more EPW support. I know my mates will be bringing 5 signs along to every show, and I can't wait to get onto my sign for the Fluoro Phenom Chris Vice, for Boiling Point.

I don't think it has anything to do with winning the prizes at all, more to do with the owning of 'intellectual property'.
This thread, and countless others like it, were started by people bitching that they went to a show and saw someone else holding up a sign with 'their' comment/saying/tagline on it.

Re: Crowd Signs? Well with High Stakes comming up soon again, what will everyone be taking this time? I'll be taking a Green Frog sign again, or maybe 'Shane Haste, fears Green Frog' something along those lines.
No pretty sure it wasn't.

Sometimes the biggest reward is seeing your idea being used rather than getting the credit for that idea. Like someone mentioned before, i doubt the first person to yell YOU SUCK in tune to Angle's theme music will ever get recognition, but everyone did it until Angles music changed.

I can't believe that this guy hasn't copped a mention yet.
Way to go dude.
Well I think he is reeking of Awesomeness.

just to add on ... what if someone at a wwe raw show had a dx sign
do you think they'd be upset that there was 2000 other dx signs... if i was the person who came up with grimace i would laughin my fuckin arse of that it took off as much as it has...
it's like when you start a chant... if it takes off and almost the whole crowd has joined in you feel unfuckinbelievable...
so in the wise words of Bobby McFerrin... Dont Worry - Be Happy
