Best Night 1 Ever?
It's quite a valid question. I for one cannot remember seeing a better Night 1 of evolution. Being treated to another taste of Haste/mikey, a kick-ass falls count anywhere match and an insane tag team title match made for an awesome undercard. Also, thats gotta be one of the quickest rises to a championship ive seen from chase. But he deserves it so good luck! (congrats to Chase and Moore). And the main event really didn't disappoint, the exact opposite in fact. An incredible amount of guts was shown from both guys in what was a real bloodbath. And being showered in the crowd by those tacks! just crazy brilliant, the street fight really capped off the night. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Yes - my post count is one higher. Really great to see a big turnout tonight. I felt that that's years promotion for Evolution was skewered towards night 1 and it paid it off. hopefully all the no showers will learn of what a great night they missed and turn out in full force next year.

Yep, I cant remember a better night #1 but night #2 has always been one of the best shows of the year. Will be interesting to see what other matches they throw at us tomorrow.

Totally awesome night, i was more excited for the show than Killswitch at a comic book convention....and i wasnt dissapointed. Nice to see Moore/Chase pick up the tag titles, hopefully they can resume their fued with Block/Wallace How awesome was Vinnie and Sanders entrance? I personally loved it. Bobby/Carnage did not dissapoint, although i wouldnt like to see Carnage in the main event scene again he definately was in top form. First few rows getting sprayed with thumbtacks was crazy! Little dissapointed with the Mikey/Haste match though, the other ones were light years ahead. Something seemed alittle off on that one. But still, a great night and i didnt have to see any Chris Vice!! WOOO

Bobby & FN Carnage easily match of the year. Its going to be next to impossible for anyone to top that... having said that EPW will surely find a way. I got told about the Allstars entrance. Missed it cos i got there a few minutes late due to work, but all reports tell me im gonna mark of chronic for it. Tonight I sense the team of Drake Wallace and Ferguson Block having a fallout and Corvus not being to happy by the end of it. All credit to Moore and Griffiths, they have bright futures ahead of them but i dont see them holding those straps too long just yet. I still think by the end of the year Payne and Dooley will be holding those belts... Richter and Jose might try stand in there way first. Having said that, i was really impressed with Richter's performance last night. He's starting to look like that menacing figure we all know he can be. Dooley was at his comical best yet again. He's been very consistant in all aspects so far this year. I'd like to see Richter Vs Payne... and then maybe Richter Vs Bobby if he gets through Payne. Speaking of Payne, I'm looking forward to Storm V Payne tonight, but im hoping they anywhere around the arena a bit more than the match between Payne and Jose last night cos it was hard to see much from the far side of the arena. Haste & Mikey had its spots last night, tho it did also spawn some baffling decisions from Corvus last night. I didnt understand how it was "punishing " AZ & JT for interfering by putting them in a match, as with giving the EU their rematch on the same night. They seemed more like matches a "face" Board of Director would make. Its kinda funny. Vice seems to be the new old AZ. Personally i think it was a pity he didn't have a match thus far. Maybe he should go all Benoit on them all and prove you all wrong. But then again, they only seem to care about gimmick rather than technique. Speaking of gimmicks, Don with his greased back hair when he came out to confront Corvus, looked like he belonged in some Italian high school "cool group". Even though little Johhny was whinging, they still seemed like tweeners. One thing is for sure, Marcius wont be too happy to learn that he's got no belt. Anyways, bring on night two. this should be interesting

Team Allstar entrance was awesome. Can't wait for tonight.

was anyone else disturbed by Bobbys twitching towards the end of the match, I was worried for his health and thought he had been seriously injured :(

I was disturbed by the fact as he walked back down the entrance way he had TACKS IN THE BACK OF HIS HEAD!!!!
