ANTISTATIC check them out before ReAwakening ANTISTATIC playing at ReAwakening 2005
This is an awesome draw... Most people wont know this, a lot will, Antistatic are one of my favourite local bands. You'd know of them from the Vendetta DVD, which features the track "Underwhelmed". Having seen them numerous times at Black Bettys and the Amplifier Bar with the likes of Subtruck and Heavy Weight Champ, lets just say i was rather stoked when i heard this announcement at the houseshow the other day. Personally i know that quite a few of our EPW fans are into the sounds they make and i know that a fair few are curious as to seeing them live, but in some cases arent quite old enough to check out them at there usual stomping grounds.
But fear not, put those fake I.D's away, because you have a chance to check out Drew, Basin & Brody before ReAwakening... regardless of age.
Next Thursday 8.15pm Antistatic perform live at the Royal Show. Im looking forward to this one. They'll be on straight after Mochief...(the guys that opened Rosemount Rumble last year).
So for those of you who've complained about being too young, and for the rest of u metal fans, make sure u go to the Royal Show NEXT thursday and show them your support.
check out sic2.com or perthbands.com for more details.
BUT DONT WASTE ALL YOUR MONEY AT THE ROYAL SHOW UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE YOUR TICKETS TO DIRTY DEEDS

Chad, for the last time, I'm not giving you a job...
Heh, just kidding, thanks for the free plugs. It's true, Antistatic have a few all ages apperances lined up before RA, well worth a look and you'll get a taste of what to expect at the mother of all EPW shows. Should be good, can't wait.

Its true... Antistatic are one kick ass band.
And on the 28th of October they will be doing a gig at my school. I am so fucking excited!
So do the right thing, go and check em out. You won't be disapointed... appart from Drew's Emo fringe... thats disgraceful :P

Hey people, hate to do the whole overkill thing... but... a sad sad day in heavy metal history is upon us. November 4th will be the last Friday nite local metal gig at one of my favourite venues, Black Bettys (and to think i finally learnt how to spell it right.
BUT there is a flip side to this local tragedy... the headline act for the night, (and it doesnt take a rocket surgeon to figure this one out) is ANTISTATIC. happy happy joy joy
hopefully we'll hear songs of the EP like Underwhelmed, Clarity, and my favourite, Dilate as well as a few of the new songs they've been playing of late....cant wait for the new album, whenever its gonna be ready.
Supporting the dudes from Antistatic are Dyscord who've been playing a few gigs with Antistatic of late (and they're not that bad) as well as Chaos Divine (pretty sure i've heard them once or twice, but dont quote me on that) and Mandalay Victory (sorry no info here folks, havent yet seen them play)
so hey in trying to cut short my random blah blah blahing... check it out... (and if u havent been to one of these gig thingymbobs before... wear black)
