Agreed. I also agree about ref bumps and run-ins, there were a few too many.
"omg let's do stupid shit all night."
I disagree that they did it all night, but when you have a tables match and a house of pain match at an EPW show the fans expect "stupid shit", that's EPW.

It is kind of worrying when Slater and Storm come across lightyears ahead of everyone else on the roster.
The opening match with Slater was by far the match of the night, and it quite pathetic to think it was the only match not marred by a referee bump or intereference of some kind.
Storm/Payne was getting to be quite good until the interference. Those two matches were the only ones that could remotely keep my attention, everything else was just, omg let's do stupid shit all night.
So to Slater, Vegara, Storm and Payne. Good job.
Fair enough you have your own opinion, but I'll suggest you elaborate on the "omg let's do stupid shit all night" before the forum rips into you.
What was the 'stupid shit'?
I just wrote up an elaborate reply which was deleted because the stupid forum logged me out. I can't be arsed writing another one.

So.... can we just call you Big Bean?

to be fair, lukie has a point. there was interference in almost every match, including the main, and it just got totally over-the-top by the end of the event. at your biggest event, there should be more conclusiveness.

Why does he have a Ramu gif >.<

Agreed, too many interferences/run-ins for a major, end of year show.
And ITZ, I believe he was referring to the amount of spots there was at the show.

Ah right. I didn't think there were too many... isn't that how many EPW would usually have on a show?
When it comes down to it, some people aren't happy if it's technical wrestling (the few boring chants during Storm/Payne) and then others aren't happy if it's got 'too many' spots (such as Mr.Lukie's post). I don't think wrestling ever satisfies everyone, and as such I don't think there's a problem needing to be rectified in EPW in terms of the different styles of wrestling they provide.

They cater for those who like both types and I think that its great.
EPW have always been a bit more about spots then other feds but I think that is a contributor as to why EPW is the best fed in Australia.
Mr. LUKIE- 11-04-2007
There was barely any technical wrestling in the Storm/Payne match.
All they really did was basic mat sequences.
killswitch- 11-04-2007
So you didn't like the spots, run-ins or 'technical' wrestling? What would you have preferred? What were you expecting?

Im looking forward to you jumping in the ring next event and pulling off them in such a manner.... beeyach
killswitch- 11-05-2007
Can we PLEASE get past the stupid "you can't say anything about performances because you can't do it yourself" argurment? it's completely ridiculous.
The Vision- 11-05-2007
Thats not what i was hinting at. I was just saying it would be more technical then he thinks it is by looking at it. As for me i thought it did have its technical moments to it and i was thoroughly satisfied :D

How long have you been watching wrestling?
